Octavia E. Butler Magnet envisions a community of academically engaged, innovative, and globally minded scholars who embrace diversity, think critically, and use their voices and talents to positively impact their communities and the world.

Mission

Our mission is to provide an engaging, inclusive, and collaborative learning environment grounded in high-quality, rigorous instruction. Through integrated STEAM learning, bilingualism and biliteracy, AVID, and meaningful community partnerships, we prepare all students for success in high school, college, career, and life. We foster curiosity, creativity, leadership, and a strong sense of belonging so that every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
