Our Parent Center's mission is to engage parents and caregivers in their student's educational experience by providing a comfortable setting to express concerns, questions, and suggestions on the school site, and to provide support to the school community.   We strive to provide education, community resources, and support services to all families of Octavia E. Butler Magnet.

Values and Beliefs

The Parent Center is dedicated to serving families with students at OEB through education and an open exchange of ideas and experiences.  The Parent Center is multi-cultural and is committed to meeting the diverse needs of the community.  We believe that a strong parent/school partnership is an essential building block in an effective educational program.
